The Haryana Waqf Board engages Alims, Hafiz, Nazra, Muazzin and Caretakers in the mosques managed by the Board. They get a monthly honorarium for leading five times prayers in mosques. They also teach children Dini-Taleem in Maktabs run in the mosque itself. The honorarium is reviewed after every three years. The Haryana Waqf Board increased the honoraria of Imams of different categories from 1st September, 2012. At present there are 333 Imams of different categories in Haryana Waqf Board


The Board is providing monthly pension to widows, destitute, aged and orphans @ Rs. 500/- per month provided they do not get pensions from any other source. The widows are also encouraged for going into small entrepreneurships so that they could become self reliant. The widows are provided sewing machines by the Board, if required.


In order to provide health care facility to the weaker sections of the society, the Board has established a charitable dispensary named, Ghausia Dispensary in Panipat. This dispensary is attracting a large number of patients every day. Daily 50 to 60 patients visit here and get free medical checkup. Immunization programme is also undertaken by the dispensary from time to time. A qualified MBBS doctor has been posted on the payroll of the Board. The patients are given free medicines.
